단순하고 소박하게 마음이 머무는 집을 만들다

'연남동 조르바'의 대지는 5m 폭의 좁은 도로에 면하여 동측으로 공원을 바라보며 자리 하고 있다. 주변에는 얼마 남지 않은 단독주택과 다세대주택이 들어서 있는, 전형적인 주 택가의 풍경이다. 이 곳에 광고 회사의 사옥을 계획한다.

지하 2층 ~ 지상 2층, 지상 5층의 5개층을 광고회사에서 사용하고, 3, 4층은 임대를 목 적으로 하는 공간이다. 광고회사 근무자들을 위해 각 업무 공간마다 휴식을 취할 수 있 는 공간과 외부공간을 만드는 것을 목표로 했다. 지하 2층과 지상 1층의 스탠드형 좌석 과 함께 배치한 높이차가 있는 공간은 휴식을 고려한 구성이다. 각 층의 테라스는 비가 오면 비가 오는대로, 눈이 오면 눈이 쌓이는대로, 별이 빛나는 밤을 볼 수 있는 휴식공간 이 된다. 5층의 지붕 덮인 테라스 너머로 보이는 아담한 성미산의 풍경은 마음의 안식처 가 될 수도 있겠다. 저 멀리 보이는 북한산과 남산, 도봉산 자락을 보며 힐링을 하게 될지 도 모를 일이다.

Zorba is located in Yeonnam-dong on a narrow 5m wide road running toward the east and facing the park.

This is where we plan to locate a building for an advertising company. The intention is to utilise the space from the second basement floor to the fifth floor for the advertising company, with the third and fourth floors are being available for lease. Due to this reason, it is planned to have resting zones in each workspace, with outdoor space on one side. Therefore, one zone is for relaxationandtheotherwheretheemphasis isonperformingwork in aharmoniousenvironment.

The standing height seating on the second basement and first floor are considered as a structure with the height difference. The outdoor terraces on each floor are resting places where one can see the rain, snow and night full of stars. The Seongmi mountain landscape can become a healing place from the roof terrace on the fifth floor. They even might heal from just looking at the terraces of Mt. Bukansan, Mt. Namsan and Mt. Dobongsan in the distance.
