1. 외향적 공간구성 + 아웃도어 스페이스

아슬라 브루잉 컴퍼니(ASLA Brewing Company) 빌딩은 자연 속 수제 맥주 브루잉(양조) 시설과 시음 라운지, 다양한 야외공간이 함께하는 공간이다.
소나무 숲으로 둘러싸인 초원에 자리한 건물은 외향적 매싱을 통해 적극적으로 외부공간을 연결한다. 세 방향으로 뻗은 매싱 사이 공간을 활용하며, 프로그램 윙들은 외부로 연장되어 자연과 함께하는 외향적 공간들을 제공한다. 또한, 건물 외관을 따라 회전하는 외부 동선은 모든 층을 연결하며 파노라마 자연 전망의 멀티테라스 공간 경험을 제공한다.

2. 세 개의 프로그램 윙 
프로그램 윙들 사이 세 곳의 야외공간은 방문객을 맞이하는 진입광장, 브루잉룸/시험실과 연결되는 자재 반입 및 정비 공간, 그리고 식자재 재배를 위한 경작 공간으로 활용되며 이를 따라 자연스럽게 방문객, 관리자의 동선 분리가 이뤄진다. 또한 1층 오피스윙, 시험실윙과 2층 라운지윙은 외부로 프로그램을 연장하며 자연과 함께하는 경험을 극대화한다.

3. 생동감 있는 질감의 외장 마감
건물 외관에 회색 벽돌이 적용되어 인근 산업단지 내 메탈 소재 공장시설들과 색감적 연속성을 갖는 동시에, 자연 대지 위에 정숙하고 무게감 있는 매스를 만들어내며 질감의 특별함을 부여한다.
외장 벽돌 마감은 일반쌓기, 영롱쌓기, 비늘쌓기가 영역별로 세심하게 적용되어 공간 특성에 따른 질감, 음영효과와 함께 방문객의 동선을 이끈다. 외부계단의 영롱쌓기벽은 2층 브루어리로 진입하고 옥상 테라스로 올라서는 전이공간 역할을 하며, 수평적으로 적용된 비늘쌓기 외벽 마감은 곡면을 따라 생동감 있는 음영 질감을 만들어내며 테라스 간 동선 연결의 흐름을 유도한다.

1. Outward Massing + outdoor spaces
The ASLA Brewing Company building is a space with craft beer brewing facilities, a tasting lounge, and various outdoor spaces within nature.
The building, located in a meadow surrounded by a pine forest, creates a strong connection to outdoor spaces through the outward massing shape. Intermediate spaces are created between program wings extended toward three directions, and each program wing extends its interior programs to the outside toward nature. In addition, the external circulation that rotates along the building exterior and connects all floors, provides a multi-terrace experience with a panoramic nature view.

2. Three program wings
The three outdoor spaces between program wings are utilized as an entry plaza, a loading and maintenance space adjacent to the brewing/lab room, and a cultivation area, thereby naturally separating the circulation paths of visitors and staffs. In addition, an office wing, a lab wing on the first floor, and a lounge wing on the second floor extend their program activities to the outside, maximizing relaxing experiences within nature. 

3. Building exterior with vibrant texture
The use of gray bricks on the building exterior not only provides color continuity with metal finishes of factory facilities nearby, but also creates a calm and solid mass on the natural land, creating its own distinctive characteristics.
The exterior brick details such as stretcher bond, hit and miss brickwork, and angular protruding brickwork are strategically applied to each area, leading visitors along with their distinctive texture and shading effects according to the characteristics of the space. The hit and miss brickwork wall on the external stairs serves as a transition space of entering the second floor brewery and going up to the rooftop terrace, while the horizontally applied angular protruding brickwork finish creates a vibrant shading texture along the curved exterior surface promoting the movement along diverse terraces.
