구미시 산동읍의 코너에 위치한 대지는 북서측은 단지 내 도로를 면하고, 동측면에 차폐 공원 부지를 사이에 둔 채 대로를 바라보고 있다. 아이들이 넓은 마당에서 자연을 느끼며 맘 편히 놀 수 있으면서도 차량통행이 많은 골목으로부터 안전하게 보호될 수 있도록 도로로부터 등을 돌려 공원 부지를 바라본 ㄷ자 형태의 건물과 아늑하게 둘러싸인 마당을 구성했다. 단지 내 도로에서 보이는 주택의 모습은 폐쇄적이지만, 현관문을 열고 들어가면 가장 먼저 마당과 초록의 녹음이 가족을 반겨준다. 백색의 스타코를 적용하여 간결한 느낌을 주면서도 붉은 벽돌타일과 삼각창을 적용하여 처마라인과 두 개의 박공을 강조하고자 했다. 더불어 곡선의 입면요소를 적용한 담장은 도로를 향해 슬며시 미소 짓는 듯한 모습으로, 빙그레-가에서 퍼져 나오는 행복한 웃음을 외부로 표출시킨다. 집으로 둘러싸여 실내 어디서나 시선이 향하도록 한 마당은 가족을 위한 따뜻하고 아늑한 공간이다. 드넓은 마당의 녹음에서 자유롭게 뛰놀며 웃는 아이들의 표정에서 이 집이 ‘빙그레-가’ 임이 자연스레 연상된다.

The site sits on a corner in Sandongeup. Its northwest side faces an internal road of the housing complex, while the east looks toward a main road, with a buffer park in between. To let children play freely in a wide yard while staying safe from heavy traffic, the house turns its back to the road and opens toward the park. A U-shaped building wraps around a calm, protected courtyard.
From the internal road, the house appears rather closed. But once the front door opens, the courtyard and green landscape are the first things to welcome the family. White stucco gives the house a clean and simple feel, while red brick tiles and triangular windows highlight the eaves line and the two gable roofs.
The boundary wall, shaped with gentle curves, seems to smile softly toward the street, quietly sharing the happiness that begins inside Binggeure-ga. Enclosed by the house on all sides, the courtyard draws the eye from every interior space, becoming a warm and intimate place for the family. Seeing children run and laugh freely in the broad green yard, one naturally understands why this home is called Binggeure-ga.
