송지호는 숲과 바다, 호수가 동시에 마주하는 특별한 장소다. 이곳의 방문자센터는 안내 기능을 넘어, 자연으로 들어가기 전 머무는 길목이자 전환의 공간으로 계획되었다. 건물은 주변 경관에 스며들듯 낮고 길게 놓였으며, 둘레길로 이어지는 산책로를 통해 걷는 행위가 곧 자연 속에서의 경험이 된다. 중심부에는 관광 안내소와 갤러리가 자리해 광장과 바다를 향해 열려 있고, 폴딩도어로 안과 밖을 유연하게 연결한다. 별도의 매스로 분리된 화장실은 내측에 두어 편의를 더하고, 전면을 차폐해 프라이버시를 확보했다. 자전거 대여소는 둘레길과 이어져 자연으로의 접근을 확장한다. 금속 패널과 노출 콘크리트는 수평적 흐름을 강조하며 절제된 톤으로 경관 속에 배경처럼 놓였고, 긴 처마와 필로티는 개방과 차폐를 조율한다. 중정과 열린 공간은 바람과 빛을 끌어들이며 자연 속에서의 공명을 만들어낸다. 방문자는 이 공간을 거닐며 빛과 바람, 숲과 바다의 감각을 새롭게 인식하게 된다.

Songjiho is a rare place where forest, sea, and lake meet at once. The visitor center here was planned not only as an information facility, but as a place of pause and transition—where visitors stay briefly before entering nature.
The building is laid low and elongated, gently blending into the surrounding landscape. A walking path connected to the circular trail allows the act of walking itself to become part of the experience of nature. At the center, a tourist shop and gallery open toward the plaza and the sea, with folding doors that flexibly connect interior and exterior spaces.
The restrooms are separated as an independent volume and placed inward for convenience, while the front is screened to secure privacy. A bicycle rental facility links directly to the trail, extending access deeper into the natural surroundings.
Metal panels and exposed concrete emphasize the building’s horizontal flow and remain subdued in tone, allowing the
architecture to sit quietly as a backdrop to the landscape. Long eaves and pilotis carefully balance openness and enclosure. Courtyards and open spaces draw in wind and light, creating moments of resonance with nature.
As visitors move through the building, they begin to sense light and breeze, forest and sea, in a renewed and more attentive way.
