Maison De Soleil
도시 이름부터 타는 듯한 햇살이 느껴지는 밀양(密陽). 그곳에 고성능, 고단열 패널을 주 구조재로 사용하는 SIP 공법으로 패시브하우스의 5가지 요소(고단열, 고기밀, 고성능창 호, 열회수환기, 열교없는 디테일)을 확보하여 그 햇살을 적절히 이용한 ‘햇살 담은 집’이 지어졌다.
대지가 배산임수에 더 없이 좋은 언덕에 위치한 탓에 남쪽으로는 탁 트인 평야가 한눈에 들어오고 동서로는 아담한 산이 감싸고 있다. 이 대지 최고의 장점인 경치를 담아내는 것 은 대지가 주는 당연한 숙제였다. 남쪽 거실과 안방에 큰 창을 내 시원한 경치를 담음과 동시에 겨울에는 햇빛을 최대한 받아들이고 여름에는 외부 블라인드로 햇살을 차단함으 로써 에너지 효율을 높였다.
동쪽으로는 시간의 흐름에 따라 가변적으로 서재와 자녀방으로 사용할 수 있는 방을 두 고 코너창을 내서 경치를 담았다. 다락에는 작은 창을, 건축주의 힐링공간인 욕실의 월 풀에서도 경치를 즐길 수 있는 낮은 창을 설치했다.
거실의 상부는 경사지붕을 활용해 1.5개층 높이로 가족실과 오픈시켜 공간감의 변화를 주고 가족실에서는 바로 출입이 가능한 다락공간을 두어 건축주의 취미활동인 프라모델 을 전시하고 보관할 수 있도록 했다. 2층에는 뷰가 다른 두 개의 테라스가 있어 다양한 경치를 즐기고 싶어하는 건축주의 마음을 담았다.
설계를 하면서 가장 힘들었던 점은 건축주 가족 구성원들의 극명히 다른 취향을 어떻게 조화시킬 것인가 하는 것이었다. 가족의 절반은 모던한 집을 원하고 절반은 빨간 지붕의 동화같은 집을 원했다. 붉은 지붕을 원하는 취향을 반영하여 레드컬러의 리얼징크 지붕 으로 모던하지만 건축주에게는 애착가는 집의 외관을 만들 수 있었고, La-plan Design( 대표 김도현)과의 협업을 통해 차분한 색상과 세미 엔틱한 느낌의 인테리어로 모던하면 서도 따뜻함을 살릴 수 있었다.
Miryang, giving a feeling of burning sunshine from the city’s name. The SIP construction method using high-performance and high-insulation panels as its main structure was applied to secure 5 elements, (high insulation, high air tightness, high performance window, heat recovery ventilation, detailing without thermal bridges) of a passive house, and then ‘a sunny house’ using the sunlight appropriately was built.
Because the site is located on a hill which is well suited for a favoured location (with back to the mountain and facing the water), a panoramic plain is seen to the south, and small mountains in the east and west encompass the site. It was the natural homework given by the earth to put the scenery which is the best advantage of this land. In the southern living room and in the main room, a large window was installed open to view cool scenery, and at the same time it receives maximum sunlight in the winter, whereas in the summer, it improves energy efficiency by being able to block out the sun through external blinds.
To the east, a corner window is opened having a room that can be flexibly used as a study room and a child room according to the passage of time. A small window in the attic, and a low window in a whirlpool of the bathroom, which is the client's healing space, were installed to enjoy the scenery.
With a 1.5-story height using a sloped roof, the upper part of the living room is opened to a family room, giving a change in a sense of space. On the second floor, there are two terraces with different views for the client’s use who wants to enjoy various scenes.
The difficulty in designing was how to harmonize the distinctly different tastes of the client family members. Half of the family wanted a modern house, and the other half wanted a fairy tale house with a red roof. It looks modern with red real zinc, reflecting the preference of a red roof by collaboration with Kim Do-hyun, director of La-plan Design. But the exterior of the house is designed to give an attachment to the client, and the calm and semi-antique interior is able to highlight a feeling of warmth.
