서귀포 안덕면 화순리, 바다와 산방산을 마주하는 경사지에 ‘이어서’가 자리한다. 건축은 대지의 조건과 주변 풍경을 바탕으로, 화순리의 넓게 펼쳐진 경관을 담아내는 방식으로 계획되었다. 과도한 형태를 드러내기보다, 장소가 가진 흐름을 따르는 배치와 구성으로 정리되었다.
이 프로젝트는 건축사사무소, 디자인스튜디오, 목조건축 전문 시공사의 협업으로 이루어졌다. 기획부터 시공까지 이어진 과정 속에서 각 주체의 역할이 긴밀하게 맞물리며 구체화되었고, 스테이라는 프로그램 안에서 목조건축의 표현적 특성과 가능성을 드러낸다.
중목구조를 이루는 기둥과 보는 드러나 공간의 조형 요소로 자리한다. 구조가 곧 마감이 되는 방식은 공간의 성격을 명확하게 하고, 목재의 물성과 분위기를 직접적으로 전달한다.
‘이어서’는 대지와 구조의 질서를 바탕으로, 사람과 자연의 관계를 담아낸다.

In Hwasun-ri, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, on a sloping site facing the sea and Sanbangsan, Ieoseo is quietly situated. The architecture was planned in response to the conditions of the site and the surrounding landscape, in a way that embraces the broad scenery of Hwasun-ri. Rather than asserting an excessive form, it was organized through a layout and composition that follow the natural flow of the place. 
This project was carried out through the collaboration of an architectural office, a design studio, and a timber construction specialist. From planning to construction, the process developed through the close coordination of each participant’s role,
revealing within the program of a stay both the expressive qualities and the possibilities of timber architecture.
The columns and beams of the post-and-beam timber structure are left exposed, becoming formal elements within the space. In this approach, the structure itself becomes the finish, clearly defining the character of the interior while directly conveying the materiality and atmosphere of wood.
Grounded in the order of site and structure, ‘Ieoseo’ reflects the relationship between people and nature.
