세빛자매원은 개신교 은퇴여선교사의 노후 숙소다.
젊은 날 하나님께 서약하고 멀리 물설고 낯선 해외 선교지인 인도, 인도네시아, 아프리카, 일본 등의 나라에서 평생을 헌신하고, 막상 노후에는 가족과도 멀어져 어디 가서 마땅히 묵을 데가 없는 사실에 마음 아파하던 장신대 주선애 교수의 기부금이 불씨가 되어 전국 개신교계의 헌금으로 마련된 숙소다.
마침 6.25 당시 이 마을에서 순교한 황덕주 목사를 기리기 위해 그 후손이 대지를 헌납하였다.
기능은 일인용 숙소와 식당 그리고 40명 정도 수용 가능한 작은 채플로 구성되어 있다.
당초 중정은 정원으로 조성할까 하다가 연로한 노인들에게 공연한 일거리가 될까 우려하여 연못으로 변경하였다.
연못 한 쪽 구석에 있는 섬세한 모습의 돌은 연못을 마치 큰 바다처럼 생각하고 거기에 돌출된 섬처럼 상상하며 설치했다.

Sebit-Sisterhood Welfare Centre is an accommodation for retired female Protestant-Missionaries.
In young ages, these missionaries take a vow before the God and sent to preach the word on India, Indonesia, Africa, Japan, and other distant countries dedicating their lives on will to serve the others, and even some are giving up their preparation of old age and where to live in after. Beginning of Professor Sun-Ae Choo’s donation who admires their efforts and sacrifices, the offerings were gathered from churches nationwide to build the accommodation.
Just in time, descendants of Pastor Duk-Joo Hwang who martyred during Korean War offered the land, expecting to be used in value.
The accommodation mainly consists of the Bedrooms for a person and the Chapel with 40 seats.
During the designing phase, the courtyard was considered as a garden but gardening could become a nuisance for the elders, it was decided as shallow water-space which also called as the pond.
There is a rock placed on the side of the pond bringing up the image of island surrounded by the ocean.
